"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Yeah, Latin is fun, especially if you are interested in word origins.
Playing dead is a reference to the Opossum. It's our only marsupial species (you guys got all the others) It's noted for playing dead to avoid threats.
I think i have seen them in some movies, and it sounded like they said possum, so i was like that isn't a possum thats a rat, then i found out they said opossum
